I guess simulated convertible tops are really fake convertible tops in that the cars equipped with them are not true convertibles. However, I don’t like to use the word “fake”. It makes some people think you are trying to fool them. In fact, when people install “fake” or simulated convertible tops those car owners are showing pride in their cars. They are being very upfront about it because you can see the results very plainly.

Are Simulated Convertible Tops Fakes?

Simulated convertible tops (or as some like to call them – fake convertible tops) only intend to add a styling element to cars without losing the benefits of a hard top. I think this is a good compromise – to have the style of a convertible without the cost of buying a convertible. Remember, convertibles are not for everyone, especially if you live in a cold or snowy climate.  Simulated convertible tops also make cars stand out. The person seeing the top is not fooled into thinking he is looking at a true convertible. His attention may have been caught by the effect of the top which is exactly what the car owner had intended.

Simulated Convertible Tops make your Car Stand Out

If you want your car to stand out, you should consider how adding one of the simulated convertible tops styling options could showcase your car. If you do, you won’t consider the result a fake convertible top but rather an attractive addition to your car. When you check out the range of choices offered in terms of textured fabric and colors you will be amazed and delighted. You may become a convert to these roof restyling options.
